This section has all the illustrations from The Latin Tamer, with these fun features:
- You can touch a word or click on it to see its basic meaning. (The bubbles that appear will usually produce a clear English sentence if you read them in the right order.)

You’ll see an ear (
) next to each illustration. Click on it to hear the line spoken. The pronunciation is often done with a bit of extra enunciation for clarity’s sake; if you want it really slow and clear, click the snail (
). If the line is from the Bible, there’s an option to hear an ecclesiastical pronunciation of it. (For more on all this, see the notes on pronunciation in the first part of this site.) We don’t really know how Latin sounded when the Romans spoke it. These are educated guesses drawn from what they wrote about it and from their poetry, which had to follow certain rules.
- You can hide or show the translations or notes. They’re closed by default because that makes the flow of the pages easier to see. But you can open and close them all by using the switches at the top of a page.
